Our parents should not have had children.

Our parents’ were not meant to have children.

The moment you understand why your parents did what they did, you’ve matured. Don’t get me wrong. There is no forgiveness involved, or moving on. You just understand their actions as you’ve started making your own mistakes. I understand my parents’ actions, but I don’t condone them. My parents should have never been parents. They weren’t equipped. You can’t raise a person while you are still recovering from a person raising you. That being said, I understand why they did have kids. You can hate and detest your parents your whole life, but you simply can’t put the blame 100% on them. Having children was the thing to do! I think the generation I’m currently in (millenial, gen-z??) can relate to that immensely. I think a lot of us should simply not exist. We were not meant to be. Our parents’ were not meant to have children.

I wish they went to therapy instead.
