Puzzle Piece

I was a puzzle piece

That did not fit in your masterpiece,

I tried and tried and realized I belonged

In a different box,

But you wanted the missing puzzle piece

So badly,

And you tried to cut me into a shape

That would fit,

But you can’t cut a puzzle piece,

It ruins the picture.
